Play a hand of solitaire, sit down to a game of checkers or take a break with a brick breaker. Arcajoy games run in your browser, so there is no separate app to install. The catalogue includes card and board games, number puzzles and games with balls and blocks. You can pick something for a few spare minutes or spend longer working through a stubborn card layout.
For a quiet round, try Klondike, Spider or FreeCell. In 2048, you merge tiles while keeping enough space for the next move. Minesweeper asks you to read the numbers and work out which squares are safe. A brick breaker moves faster: the ball is already coming back, and your paddle needs to meet it. Pool gives you time to aim and decide how hard to hit the cue ball.
Playing alone or with a friend
A familiar game is an easy place to start. Still, check the description before playing a new version. Rules for moving cards, board sizes and available modes may differ from what you know. Each game page explains the goal and controls. The guides go into particular situations, such as freeing a card you need or keeping space open for the next piece.
If you want to play with a friend, check that the game supports it first. In checkers and dominoes, your plans have to account for another player’s reply. A solo puzzle lets you work through the board on your own. Unsure why a move is unavailable? The rules and frequently asked questions on the game page can help clear that up before you start another round.
